Creative Gardening

Take your gardening to the next level with this course covering a variety of creative topics for the organic home gardener. Topics include: How to create and design your dream garden, the multiple ways to grow in containers for beauty, style or novelty, what to plant in your winter kitchen garden for health benefits, creating a healing garden space using Feng Shui, Zen, labyrinth, or biodynamic gardens concepts.

Instructos: Laura Pasetta is professionally trained in therapeutic herbal medicine and has a passion for holistic, organic gardening that she uses for both healing and culinary enjoyment.

Room Design to Chase Away
the Blues

Create a home that will uplift your spirits and use your home environment to support a positive lifestyle! The class will cover decluttering, paint colors to enhance wellbeing, how light effects our moods, simple space planning, furniture that keeps it simple, and tools for making it happen even if it’s in small steps.

Fun with
Fermented Foods
This interactive class will teach you how to make sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha and sourdough bread. We will prepare these international delicacies and discuss the health and nutritional benefits of fermented foods. You will learn the science behind fermented foods and understand why and how cultures have been fermenting for centuries.

Instructor: Paul Hudak teaches organic gardening, cooking, and nutrition at a local school. As a lifelong fermenter, Paul has taught many fermentation workshops locally.

Finally you will learn the process to make your own tinctures from different herbs. This class will focus on a hops tincture, but there are countless possibilities.
